About This Project
These two massive single and three compartment silos are used for cement storage in a new built cement plant production in Colombia.
The IBAU Central Cone was the type of silos selected for this project. Designed to improve product flow and ensure efficient emptying. It features a central, inverted cone at the bottom that divides the silo into aeration sections, which are then connected to individual discharge outlets to provide a more consistent and complete discharge of materials.
An accurate and cautious design using EC2 to ensure both reliable flow and structural integrity when designing such structures.
