GEORGIOS MAGKLIS MEng, MSc, Owner – Managing Director of VERSATILIS
An experienced civil and structural engineer having worked worldwide managing teams and projects.
He leads projects from the early design stages right through to construction and has worked on a range of successful projects during his career from industrial, commercial, bridge, hospitality residential to private residences.
George personally oversees every project from beginning to completion.
He is well known for building strong relationships with clients, design teams, and contractors. He can create and communicate complex engineering solutions and deliver the client’s ambitions.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Bradford University UK, a Master’s degree (Structural Engineering) from Cardiff School of Engineering and a Master’s degree (Bridge Engineering) from Surrey University UK.
One of his professional highlights was his involvement with the strengthening and retrofitting designs of earthquake damaged structures during the 2011 Canterbury Earthquakes as well as with various advanced earthquake designs executed worldwide.
